A calibrated
diamond is developed in South Africa. By using micro-laser technology
Calibrated Diamonds (Pty) LTD., can guarantee, to within sub-micron
tolerances, that a cut diamond will be perfect for the addition
of the fifty-seven facets required for a brilliant
cut diamond.
A diamond
cut in this manner and polished in the normal traditional manner
will have maximum fire and sparkle. The reason is that the diamond
has been calibrated perfectly to use the diamond’s intrinsic
properties of refraction and light dispersion, to optimize its visual
impact.
